P.T. Barnum Signed Hand Written Letter

P.T. Barnum Signed Hand Written Letter

Depending on who you ask, P.T. Barnum was either the biggest con man or greatest showman of all time. Some say he was both. This letter, hand written by the circus impressario himself, requests acknowledgement of receipt from an associate of Mr. Barnum and discusses an outstanding debt. In the upper left corner, a blue oval stamp dates the letter as "AUG 7 1873", with P.T. Barnum's name and "Bridgeport CT" written around the ring.
