On April 27, 1968 at the Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California, heavyweights Jerry Quarry and Jimmy Ellis battled for the vacant WBA Heavyweight Title, and Ellis won a close majority decision to win the belt. Offered here is an original, poster for this event. This paper, on-site poster has LeRoy Neiman renditions of each fighter displaying bold color and print and bold, clear images. Not creased or torn, there is minor edge and corner wear and some minor toning. This very seldom seen poster measured 14x22".
