Rare 1919 Cincinnati Reds Real Photo Postcard
The 1919 baseball season was capped off by one of the most infamous scandals in baseball history. When the 1919 Black Sox threw the series, the Cincinnati Reds were crowned the champions of baseball. This 3.25x5.25" original postcard is from the World Series Champion Cincinnati Reds, taken on September 14, 1919. The front of the postcard features a photo of the entire team along with the print "Cincinnati Reds Natl' League Champions, Photo Taken Sept. 19, 1919." Postcard back is clean with no writing and reads "Maly's, 635 Vine St. Cincinnati Ohio."
