Rare 1920s Dental Model by Vecabe
Beautifully constructed French antique dental model made by Vecabé for making crowns and bridges. Complete set of teeth is made from enamel and were originally made individually by hand. "Gold" crowns are made in brass. One tooth is chipped o/w EX-MT and complete which these almost never are. Each tooth is of separate construction and fits in individually and then secured to the mandible. They fit together perfectly to form an anatomically correct bite. The heavy silver metal block opens through 180 degrees to allow detailed inspection. On the upper surface is engraved and translates to: "Examination Model Intended for Dental Art Patents in All Civilized Countries." Perfect for dentists, or for the dentist in you, or for Steve Martin in "Little Shop of Horrors."
