Rare 1935 Chicago Cubs National League Champions Pennant

Rare 1935 Chicago Cubs National League Champions Pennant

Though they haven't won one in 70 years, the Chicago Cubs do, in fact, have 16 National League pennants in their trophy cabinet. This one represents the 14th of those, won in 1935, a season that marked the last time the franchise ever won 100 games. This exceptionally rare item is dated, simply proclaiming: "Cubs Champions 1935" in white on deep blue felt. The original white tassels are still attached and the pennant measures 22.5" long. It is in EX condition. The Cubbies lost the 1935 World Series to the Tigers in six games.
