Rare 1939 Rams vs. Eagles Last Game of the Season Program and Ticket Stub
Here's a great program and ticket stub combination from the final game of the 1939 Football Season, an epic gridiron brawl between the Cleveland Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles at Will Rogers Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The choice to play in Colorado was intended to become an annual event for the then state-of-the-art stadium, but that idea eventually faded away. The program is signed by three individuals in sharp blue ink, and is in VG condition with a small spot on the front. It is scored inside and contains plenty of fantastic advertisements and cartoons, including one predicting the use of radios for coaches and on-field players to communicate. Ticket stub is also VG.
