Rare 1939 World Series Felt Pennant
It was Cincinnati's first World Series appearance since their scandal-tainted win over the "Black Sox" 20 years earlier, but 1939 would belong to the Yankees, who captured their fourth straight championship. From that October comes this rare blue felt pennant with red tassels and white silk screen printing which reads: "World Series 1939" inside a baseball image with "Cin'ti Reds, N.Y. Yankees" to the right. It is a beautiful relic and in EX-MT condition.
