Rare 1955 Willie Mays "Hit & Run" Magazine
January 1955 issue of the Puerto Rican sports magazine "Hit & Run" with the Say Hey Kid on the cover in a Santurce Crabs uniform. Issue marks the near-mythic championship season when Willie played with Roberto Clemente in the outfield and they finished one-two in the batting race (Willie .394, Clemente .356). White-yellow-green cover has Mays glad-handing Ruben Gomez in a green-tinted box. Overall VG-EX. Only one known.
