Rare 1958 Don Hoak Cincinnati Redlegs Signed Game Used Bat (PSA GU 9)

Rare 1958 Don Hoak Cincinnati Redlegs Signed Game Used Bat (PSA GU 9)

Here's a rare 1958 bat, used by a two-time World Series champion who was a 1955 Dodger and 1960 Pirate: Don Hoak. Making this lot even more valuable is the fact that it was signed by the third baseman, who suffered a fatal heart attack in 1969, just five years after his Major League career came to an end and just days after completing a season as a minor league manager in the Pirates' system. The Hillerich & Bradsby Model U1 bat is signed and personalized on the top of the barrel in 7/10 pen: "To Paul, Best Wishes, Don Hoak." The bat shows great use with many ball stitch impressions on the barrel. Comes with PSA LOA GU 9, as well as PSA LOA for the signature.
