Rare 1964 Auravision Baseball Records Factory Set MINT IN BOX - First We Have Seen

Rare 1964 Auravision Baseball Records Factory Set MINT IN BOX - First We Have Seen

Many will recall the curiosity value of special records - actual, playable, records - being included as part of a cereal box or as a magazine insert. These coated card-stock beauties fit into that category, the 1964 Auravision Record Factory Set. A product of COLUMBIA RECORDS, there are 16 total Sports Record Cards, with beautiful photos on the playing surface from which fans can actually hear the legends depicted. This is a MINT set - NO CENTER HOLES PUNCHED OUT, and comes with Cassette tape. Full color action photos highlight the likes of Koufax, Mays, Mantle, Drysdale, Maris and more, with full statistics and player bios on back. Best of all is a five minute interview with player and announcer Marty Glickman, a victim of Hitler's anti-Semitism in the 1936 Olympics, on cassette tape. The original box houses the set, billed as "1964 AuraVision Baseball Talking Record Cards."
