Rare 1973 Madison Square Garden Fight Poster
This rare poster was made as a presentational to New York boxing columnist Vic Ziegel. The original poster company took the graphics for the 1973 Jerry Quarry v. Earnie Shavers Madison Square Garden fight poster and created a mock poster for Shavers v. Ziegel. The poster shows the same four fighters as on the original poster, including Quarry and Shavers. The mock fight has the same date as the real fight, Friday, December 14, 1973. The poster has damage to its corners, including pinholes, but the colors are nice and all there. Overall, it is a very good piece.
