Rare 1973 Roberto Clemente Photo Ticket and Program
Baseball fans of the era can't forget the tragedy of Roberto Clemente, whose life was cut short in a plane crash in 1972 while on a mission of mercy to aid earthquake victims. This item is an unused ticket - which includes an image of the late star - to Roberto's Youth City Benefit Concert, which was held in Pittsburgh in 1973. Comes framed with original program to the concert, which featured Pirates announcer Bob Prince as M.C. & Nelson Briles as guest soloist for the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony. The ticket has a crease, while the program is in NM condition.
