Rare 1975 Bill Russell Signed Seattle SuperSonics Contract (PSA)
While it's hard to picture hoops icon Bill Russell being associated with any team other than the Boston Celtics, his post-playing career brought him into the coaching and GM ranks, and this rare contract is from his sideline tenure with the Seattle SuperSonics and the signing of Al Carlson. The 12-page standard contract measures 8.5x11" and is in outstanding condition, with virtually no age toning evident. Page 7 bears not only the blue ballpoint signature of Russell as the Sonics' General Manager, but it also includes a stamp of commissioner Larry O'Brien, dated Oct 6, 1975. Carlson played just 28 games in '75-76 - his only NBA experience - but he is forever tied to an all-time great in this one signed document. Comes with PSA LOA.
