Rare 1975 Boston Red Sox LCS Game Used Ball

Rare 1975 Boston Red Sox LCS Game Used Ball

A unique item from the almost magical Red Sox postseason of '75 is this game-used ball on which is hand-written "Boston 7, Oakland 1, 75 Championship Series, 10-4-75" on one panel in black ink, marking the Sox' Game 1 victory in the ALCS that eventually sent them to the WS against the Reds. Extensive use has smudged the ball's official markings except for the Spalding logo, but this further stamps the orb as an authentic piece of history. Comes with LOA from the ball's owner, who originally acquired it from Carl Yastrzemski's onetime housekeeper.
