<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="background: white; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #333333;">Rare full Ticketron ticket(6.5x2") issued for the Heavyweight Championship bout between championMuhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner, held at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield,Ohio, on March 24, 1975. Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This is the ONLY example gradedat this level by PSA, with NONE graded higher. This is an exceedingly rare fullticket to this bout as evidenced by the PSA Population Report, which listsjust one other example. The bout against Wepner was Ali's first title defenseafter defeating George Foreman in the famous "Rumble in the Jungle."Although Ali battered Wepner for fifteen rounds before knocking him out, thefight was notable because it marked one of only four times in which Ali wasknocked down in a professional fight. The bout was also purported to be theinspiration for Sylvester Stallone's classic boxing film "Rocky."</span></p><p> </p>
