Rare Baseball Hall of Fame Oversized Mug

Rare Baseball Hall of Fame Oversized Mug

This over-sized glass mug, which stands 9" tall and has a diameter of 5", was a presentational rather than a commercial piece, from the Ken Smith collection. Smith was the Hall of Fame director in the 1960s and 1970s. The mug has a hand-blown glass handle and the likeness and names of 52 Hall-of-Famers, among them Satchel Paige, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Casey Stengel, Roberto Clememte, Jackie Robinson, Dizzy Dean, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Rogers Hornsby, Sandy Koufax, Yoggi Berra, Whitey Ford, Tris Speaker and more. Also features illustration of the Hall of Fame and reads "Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, N.Y." Some of the printed names in the bottom row are beginning to fade, but the mug is overall in EX condition.
