Rare Kiki Cuyler Signature Model Fielder's Glove
A throwback to baseball's olden days, this rare circa 1930s glove from Wards bears a clearly legible facsimile signature from Hall of Famer Kiki Cuyler. Tan glove has a button on the back with which to adjust the wrist strap and has great vintage appeal, with virtually no pocket to speak of, a couple of strings passing for webbing, and no stitching between the four fingers. Overall in EX condition, displays little if any use but does have some cracking in places, possibly due to age. Cuyler played his first Major League game in 1921 and his career ran through 1938. Though he didn't hit for power much in the aftermath of the dead ball era, he did compile an impressive .321 career average at the plate and led the league in stolen bases on four occasions.
