Red Ruffing Game Worn New York Yankees Cap
Fabulous blue beaner is one of the classic symbols of sports. "NY" on the front is appears like it did the day it was worn, and is all 100% original. White cloth Spalding label has turned to a cream. Leather band is warm and supple to the touch. Cap is in beautiful condition and was worn towards the end of his career in the 1940s (hence it was one he "took home" towards "the end"). LOA from longtime collector who got it from a neighbor of Red Ruffing's who in turn got it from Ruffing.
