Rip Kirby by Alex Raymond 1953 Daily

Rip Kirby by Alex Raymond 1953 Daily

"Rip! Put me down...I want to tell you about my trip..." says Honey Dorian excitedly. "Travelogues later, darling. Right now, prepare to be kissed!" says Rip Kirby (even more excitedly). This piece of daily original art from 1953 titled "Rip Kirby" was created by the great Alex Raymond, who is famous for writing and illustrating Flash Gordon. This is one of the best dailies of Rip ever seen, as it features both main characters Rip and Honey. The back of the piece has the title written in navy colored pencil, which says, "Paris can wait!" There is a red stamp with "ANG Co. Inc Photoengravers" on it. The bottom left corner of the front piece says, " Copr. 1953, King Features Syndicate, Inc., World rights reserved."
