Robert F. Kennedy as Child Photograph (1939)
As a 14 year old boy, Robert F. Kennedy poses with his mother Rose and his sisters Eunice and Kathleen. This International News wire photo was taken upon their disembarkment of the U.S. liner Washington in New York. Photo is 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" and is in EX-MT condition with only a few small creases mostly on the corners. At the time (1939), their father, Joseph P. Kennedy, was the ambassador to Great Britain. The Kennedy family was returning to America to flee the dangers of war which was breaking out in Europe.
