Roberto Clemente Game Used Adirondack Bat

Roberto Clemente Game Used Adirondack Bat

The Pride of Puerto Rico - Roberto Clemente - spoke softly and carried a big stick. From his latter years with the Pittsburgh Pirates comes this terrific Adirondack bat that measures roughly 36.5" and weighs 38.3 ounces. The handle is cracked and the Hall of Fame right fielder's famous #21 is marked in black ink on the knob. There is plenty of game use evident, and there's pine tar on the handle. All the markings are crisp and clear. The bat was likely used around 1972, Clemente's second-to-last season before he perished in a plane crash during a humanitarian mission.
