Roberto Clemente Original Painting by Kevin-John Jobczynski

Roberto Clemente Original Painting by Kevin-John Jobczynski

The loss of Roberto Clemente, an incredibly skilled baseball player and noted humanitarian, was one of the most tragic in sports history. This 18 x 20” painting, created on acid free hot press illustration board in mixed media, is a tribute to one of sports' most praiseworthy icons. It took nearly a full eighty hours to complete this gorgeous work of art, with most of this work done as a performance at the 2008 MLB winter meetings in Las Vegas. Created with permission from the Clemente family, this item is a great remembrance of not just an athlete, but a man who died trying to help those in desperate need. A portion of the final bid will be donated to the Roberto Clemente Foundation.
