Among the truly great players of all time, Roberto Clemente was a consistent Gold Glove outfielder, accumulating 3000 hits and a .317 average over 18 seasons. He was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame after losing his life in a tragic plane crash in 1973, at age 37. We offer a baseball contract with Clemente's signature in blue ball point, dated Dec 5, 1964. The contract is an agreement to play Winter League ball for the Santurce Crabbers during the winter of 1964 - 65. The document is 8 1/2" x 11" on pink paper, four sides, and is a carbon copy. Condition is NRMT.
