Roberto Clemente Signed 3000th Hit Photo
One of only a handful of these signed photos that exist, this photo was taken and developed in the same day. The following day the photo was taken to Roberto Clemente by Bob Prince and Clemente signed it along with 4 others for him. It pictures Clemente swinging and about to make contact for his 3000th. This was his last regular season hit as he died 3 months later while helping to deliver relief supplies to vicitms of the Nicaraguan earthquake. Photo has slight gray toning around the border, otherwise in Excellent-Mint condition. Signature is perfect-a 10 out of 10. A classic Clemente autographed photo that will be fought over to own.
