Roberto Clemente Single Signed Baseball Signed Two Days Before His Death

Roberto Clemente Single Signed Baseball Signed Two Days Before His Death

Tragically dying in a plane crash on December 31st, 1972, Clemente signed this ball just two days earlier on December 29th. Obviously, this is one of the last balls that the Pirate great had signed. Puerto Rico Little Boys ball has been autographed and inscribed on the sweet spot in Near Mint blue ink. Part of the inscription has been gone over as the pen was not working properly. The person who obtained the ball has dated it "12/29/72" in blue ink on the panel beneath the signature. The ball has some toning and light staining. Also included is a Wilson Unofficial ball that has been signed Orlando Cepeda, Tony Perez and 4 more. Signatures rate Mint on the medium toned ball with light staining.
