Roberto Duran Fight Worn Trunks From His First Title Winning Bout

Presented here are the actual fight-worn trunks used by Roberto Duran in his famous Madison Square Garden fight against Ken Buchanan. The trunks are blue crushed velour with white and red trim. The manufacturer's label for TUF-WEAR is on the center of the waistband. Two stars on the left leg and stitched on the legs are the names Rocky (Roberto's early nickname) Duran. The trunks show wear and use. LOA from Felicidad Duran, the wife of Roberto Duran accompany this lot along with an LOA from Craig Hamilton of JO Sports, Inc. Photograph of Duran in the ring wearing the trunks also is part of the provenance accompanying this important piece of boxing history.
