Roberto Duran Signed Fight Worn Trunks and Robe (PSA)

Roberto Duran Signed Fight Worn Trunks and Robe (PSA)

Amazing fight worn trunks and robe used by ruthlessly effective boxing champion Roberto Duran. Known as "Manos de Piedra" (Hands of Stone, in Spanish) for his tremendous punching strength which saw him amass 70 knockouts in 103 career victories, Duran signed both pieces along with his inscribed nickname in black Sharpie. Shorts are white satin with red waist and trim, front has TOPPER patch across the belt, Audio Foto embroidered on left leg, and Panama flag on right leg. Back waist has La Bambina patch. Signed on left thigh rating 7/10. Colorful robe is white with red sleeves and multi-colored shoulders and tail, back has "Roberto Duran" and "Panama" embroidered in red around four embroidered crowns. That likely represents his title reigns in no less than four different classes - lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight, and middleweight, though he is perhaps best remembered for his trilogy of fights against Sugar Ray Leonard. Signed above name on back. Heavy use shown on both items.
