Robinson Vs. Archer Full Ticket (Robisnon's Last Fight)
On November 10, 1965 at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh the long and gloried career of Sugar Ray Robinson came to a close. Robinson fought Joey Archer and lost a ten round unanimous decision. This was Robinson's last fight. He was floored for a 9-count in round four, but had a good sixth round. Archer was the aggressor and the three officials scored it 49-40, 50-39, and 48-41 in his favor. Archer admitted afterward that it was only the second time he had knocked an opponent down. Offered here is a very scarce original, full, unused, on site ticket for this event. This is an original, full ticket which names the fighters, date and venue and which includes a seat number. EX condition with bold color and no creases. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
