Rocky Marciano Sparring Gloves
A hometown hero, the "Brockton Blockbuster" is regarded by many as the greatest heavyweight of all time. With a record 49 consecutive wins (still standing), and with the only undefeated professional record in existence, it looks like a strong case. This pair of 12 oz. Seyer boxing gloves was worn by Marciano in training in Mexico. With labelling reading: "Seyer… M.I.R. Professional Hecho in Mexico". They show extensive use and laces are missing. Right glove label is partially ripped off. Originally obtained from a surviving family member. LOA.
