Rocky Marciano vs. Archie Moore Fight Film Poster
On September 21, 1955, Rocky Marciano defended his Heavyweight Title for the last time, defeating Archie Moore in Yankee Stadium. It brought his record to 49-0, a mark challenged but to this day never eclipsed. Moore didn't go easily. He knocked down the champ early, but was himself stopped in the 9th round after being worn down by the relentless attack of Marciano. Offered here is an original poster used to advertise the viewing of the fight film from this event. This is an original United Artists poster picturing both fighters. Professionally linen-backed, it features bold color and images. The poster is clean and not stained, measuring 28" x 41". Seldom seen in this nice condition.
