Rose Bowl Original Artwork Submissions
A series of pastel style graphics submitted to the Rose Bowl committee for the cover art of the game program. Four original pieces are in the series, including the one (made in 1951) deemed fit to print in 1954. All pieces are signed on the back by Bion Atkinson and the chosen piece has notes as well as the signature. Included with the artwork is a program with the final print. The differences between the submission and prints are fascinating.
