legendary sports cartoonist Willard Mullin portrays Russ Meyer aka "Rowdy Russ" warming up his big right hand for the game while also nursing a "broken foot". Known for his outlandish and unsportsmanlike persona, Russ naturally grabbed the attention of everyone he was in contact with. The broken foot comes from an incident in which Russ removed his shoe in anger and then kicked a chair.
