Sammy Davis, Jr. 1987 Kennedy Center Awards Scrapbook & Nancy Reagan Signed Photograph
American entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr. compiled the contents and built this captivating scrapbook that includes: Invitations to the White House (10), invitations to various other events (8), photos with Ronald and Nancy Reagan, two gold box tickets, menus (2), several press clippings, and congratulatory telegrams from Lena Horne, Swifty Lazar, Shecky Greene, Liza Minnelli, Jerry Lewis (22 total), notes and letters of congrats from Allan Carr, Ann Jillian and Robert Schuller. There are other miscellaneous pieces, as well, including dinner placecards, a great shot of Frank Sinatra and Davis together against $1,000 ticket invites and order forms (4). Best of all, however, is the signed photo from the Reagans. Some stuff is glued in, and the album is separated from its binder.
