Purchased directly from a Sosa relative are two autographed game worn jerseys and 7 pairs of batting gloves. All come with Lelands LOA's and show excellent game use. 2001 game worn jerseys are beautiful Chicago Cubs home pinstripe shirts with the appropriate Majestic Athletic (size) 48 tagging and bears team patches on sleeves along with the Captain's "C". They are a wonderful style harkening back to the 1969 "cult" team (come to think of it, the Cubs are still cursed by that Shea Stadium black cat). Boyish “Sosa 21” on the verso, and signed there as well in silver sharpie (one sig. EX, one NRMT). Beautiful selection of well-used batting gloves are Fila’s in blue and black. A few different styles and there are fourteen gloves total. Think of the home runs he blasted with these gloves providing for a better grip. Comes with the original mailing label and partial box top from the Chicago Cubs.
