Sandy Andy Football Kicker
Children of the '70s may remember "Super Toe," a toy that allowed the user to slam the plastic figure's head, forcing the foot to kick a football across the room. Well, Super Toe had nothing on "Sandy Andy." This item, which lists its patent date as Dec 16, 1919, features a metallic figure in kicking pose, and a metal "tee" on which to place the ball. Just pull back the spring-loaded leg and let 'er rip! Alas, the ball is long since gone, but the item itself as well as the spring action in the leg are in amazing condition. There are some scratches in the paint on the base and a minor dent or two, but no signs of rust or other undue wear.
