Sandy Koufax Signed Original Artwork by Murray Olderman
This excellent image of Sandy Koufax shows him as “The Lasting Image of the World Series.” He is in his classic windup pose, taken from a very famous photograph: “As A Man Apart He Goes Into His Pitching Motion.” This 18x10” pen-and-ink is by noted baseball cartoonist Murray Olderman and was syndicated nationally with the “NEA” logo on it. Its condition is EX+ and it is by far one of the nicest Koufax cartoons we have seen. It is signed at the bottom in black sharpie and it is a vintage 1980s signature. The piece is circa 1963.
