Satchel Paige by Richard Merkin
Brooklyn-born artist and editor Richard Merkin passed away in 2008 and we mourn the loss of our great friend and favorite artist. One of the VIPs who made the cover of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album, Merkin created this 36.75" x 29" framed, limited edition print of Satchel Paige on the hill in his Kansas City Monarchs uniform. Merkin was a regular contributor to the New Yorker and Vanity Fair, as well as a groundbreaking hobbyist. In NM condition.
