Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball

This is one signature that will never lose significance. Gorgeous black ink on the panel of this non-official ball reads, "Best Wishes Satchell Paige". More than just a legend, Satchel Paige is one of the most mysterious anomolies in all of baseball. The greatest pitcher in the history of the Negro Leagues, Paige finally got to fulfill his dream of pitching in the Major Leagues in 1948, when recruited by Bill Veeck for the pennant race and pitched until he was 59 years old. He owns such unrivaleded numbers as 64 consecutive scoreless innings and 21 consecutive wins. Regarding his age, Paige is quoted as saying, "Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Signature is a 7.5 out of a possible 10.
