Scarce 1964 & 1978 Cincinnati Reds World Series Phantom Press Pins (2)
These pins would have granted press access for home World Series games in 1964 and '78, except that the Reds failed to get that far. The 1964 phantom Series pin has a pin-back and Balfour stamp, while the 1978 is a charm style, and both are in NRMT condition. For the record, the best laid plans were for naught, as Cincy narrowly missed qualifying for the post-season in both of those years.
