Presentational game ball awarded to Head Coach Dick Vermeil from the first ever victory of the Philadelphia Eagles over the Minnesota Vikings. Wilson Pro football reads; "Game ball presented to coach Dick Vermeil, Eagles 1st win ever over the Vikings, Eagles 42, Vikings 7, September 14, 1980, from the 1980 football squad." Ball shows nice use and is somewhat deflated but does hold air. Vermeil coached in Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Kansas City, and has the distinction of taking all three non-playoff teams to the post-season within his first three seasons.
