September 2009 DeSean Jackson NFC Special Teams Player of the Month Presentation Football
Specially decorated football presented to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson in honor of being named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September, 2009. The Wilson Official NFL football features a white-painted panel that is lettered "Game Ball Presented to DeSean Jackson NFC Special Teams Player of the Month September 2009." Both an Eagles logo and NFC logo are featured on the panel as well. Jackson returned a punt 85 yards for a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in week 1 of the 2009 NFL season and his punt-return average of 22.2 yards per return was the top mark in the NFL during the first month of the season. Jackson, who was in his second NFL season with the Eagles in 2009, was well established as one of the game's most dynamic big-play wide receivers and punt returners in the game at the time of this award. He finished the year with league-leading and career-high totals in punt-return yards (441), average punt-return yards (15.2) and punt-return touchdowns (2). The ball remains in Near Mint condition.
