"Slingin'" Sammy Baugh By Arthur K. Miller
Colorful and iconic, this original painting on canvas recreates All-American Sammy Baugh's 1948 Leaf card. It measures 32.5" x 39.25" and was made to hang unframed. It is in MT condition and signed by the artist in both the lower right corner and reverse. At TCU, Baugh led the Horned Frogs to two Bowl Game victories: the 1936 Sugar Bowl and the inaugural Cotton Bowl. In the NFL, he played quarterback, was an awesome defensive back, and was one of the best punters of all time.
