Special 1916 Pocket Watch Presented to First NFL Superstar QB
This gorgeous vintage pocket watch was presented to Oscar "Ockie" Anderson, who was an All-American quarterback for Colgate in 1916. One of the finest forward-passers of his era, Ockie was one of the leading scorers for the Buffalo All-Americans in what was then known as the American Professional Football Association. This gold-filled watch is by E. Howard and engraved "C. Oscar Anderson All American Quarterback 1916 His Erie Friends." The Howard white porcelain dial has a classic vintage design, features outer blue numbers and is in EX condition. (The crown and stem are missing and this watch is currently not running but it may be fixed by us.) Presents magnificently, and absolutely timeless timepiece.
