Special Ted Williams Bats, Where It All Began (with Barry Bonds) and Boston's Finest (2)
One of these bats is a collector's dream come true -- a bat bearing the signatures of Ted Williams and Barry Bonds. When Bonds signed in 1992, he was clearly a junior member of the "Hitters Hall of Fame", the theme under which the bat was issued by the Ted Williams Museum. Bat has the trademark "Where It All Began Bat Co." and is numbered 352 of 406. Williams signed on the barrel while Bonds' signature appears with those of Brooks Robinson and Bob Doerr, all in vivid blue sharpie and all 10/10. The other bat is a Louisville Slugger engraved "Boston's Finest Elected to Cooperstown, 46 of 100". Williams signed it along with Doerr and Carl Yastrzemski and their signatures grade out here at 9/10. Given Bonds' staggering rise, the bat has accrued much added value, and may well be a one of a kind piece.
