St. Louis Cardinals Stadium Equipment Trunk
This absolutely gorgeous steamer trunk dates back to the Gas House Gang. Was this was used to bring baseball equipment to the various venues on the road? High quality piece of furniture beautifully shows the scars of baseball travel round the globe (yes, they went to Japan). Nicely well worn paint shows the scars of the road, but is in is perfect operating condition. Measures a healthy 30x23x45" and can be made into a coffee table or other functional use. "St. Louis Cardinals" is in white, with a perfect patina, it has been added professionally exactly as it was done for panache. Recently retired by the St. Louis Club and purchased directly from them.
