St. Louis Rams Super Bowl XXXIV Lombardi Trophy
Magnificent limited edition replica of the Vince Lombardi Trophy was given to players, coaches and employees of the St. Louis Rams after their first-ever championship victory in Super Bowl XXXIV. That game, of course, produced the most heart-thumping ending in history. It all boiled down to one play. With Tennessee at the Rams' 10 with 6 seconds left and down 23-16, Steve McNair shot a quick pass to Kevin Dyson, who snared the ball in stride at the 3, but Mike Jones reacted quickly and stopped him at the 1 as the gun went off. For the Pats, there was only one word for it: Whew! The sterling silver trophy stands approximately 17" high and has the NFL logo on the base and reads, "Vince Lombardi Trophy, NFL, Super Bowl XXIV Champions, The St. Louis Rams." On the back is engraved "343 of 400". A card from the Rams owners is included that reads, "To you who helped make it happen, our very warmest regards.
