Stanley Ketchel Original Glass Plate Negative w/Original Print
Two very rare items in one in this glass plate negative and original print featuring Middleweight Champion Stanley Ketchel. The scarcity of original photos and negatives from the man who is still known as one of the greats of all time in his division is due to his death in 1910 at the age of 24, dating this pair to circa 1909. Pieces measure 5x7", photo has some minor stains and crease at top corner, back has handwritten ID in pencil along with stamp from Brown Brothers, as this is part of their vast collection. Print is original from the time period and would be considered a Type I.
