Steve Hamilton 1968 New York Yankees Home Jersey
Steve Hamilton was not only a 12-year major league veteran reliever, the 6'7" pitcher was also a power forward for the NBA's Minneapolis Lakers between 1958-60. This extra-long Yankees pinstripe Spalding jersey is tagged HAMILTON in the collar and has "68" chain-stitched on the front tail. Hamilton served as Yankees closer in 1968 and was best remembered for his "Folly Floater" eephus pitch, which foiled hitters who could barely make contact with it.
