Steve Owen Hand Written Letter Dated July 31 - 39
Steve Owen willed three NFL Championship titles for his New York Giants, as a player and coach. The Hall of Famer hand-wrote this affectionate letter dated July 31, 1939, with “Dear John,… We will be back to the Blue Hills on the 1st of Sept. and we will be more then glad to see you. In regard to playing in Jersey I am sure it can be arranged. Again, wishing you good luck. I am Yours Sincerely, Steve Owen.” On Hotel Whitehall letter head, with “Visit the New York World’s Fair 1939 - May to November.” Includes LOA.
