Stunning Satchel Paige 1939 Signed Negro League Postcard
"Don't look back," Satchel Paige once said. "Something might be gaining on you." This signed 4 by 6-inch 1939 postcard (EX) features Paige as a young hopeful looking forward to everything: a Methuselah-length career and immortality in the Hall of Fame. He kept hitters off-balance with heat and guile and made everyone comfortable with his homespun philosophy. That was enough to propel him through tough times in the Negro Leagues. The kid made good. He gave good autograph, too. Encased and graded by PSA/DNA.
